Does anyone have any experience using growlers in heavy snow and ice? Other then snow tires (which are insufficient in heavy snow on rugged terrain) or tires studs (which work well on ice but have no effect in snow) any thoughts? Traditional tire chains won't work as there is not sufficient clearance between the tire sidewall and the ball joints for chains to clear. I am looking at tire socks of various types for arctic operations, as well as special tires, batteries, fluids, hoses, belts, etc. for ultra cold operations, but one area I am dealing with now is deep snow operations.
